We start meeting at 11:30 AM- 12:00 PM from the port.
We shall wait for tenders into the bus park or outside, close to a water tank

Description :
During this special trip, we gonna cruise in down both rivers, Amazon and Tapajos into the Maica River. Several beautiful places to go observing wildlife on the floodplain. Possibility for a lot of species of birds (great egret, jacana, cocoï heron, woodpecker, parakeets,….), pink dolphins, water buffalos, we can guarantee you sloths.
Terra Rica Tour : 5th of February 2026

We start meeting at 06:30 AM- 07:00 AM from the port.
We shall wait for tenders into the bus park or outside, close to a water tank

We shall be ready with vans to take the road.
Description :
The drive to Terra Rica lasts about 1:30mn
It's an interesting drive and we do it via Belterra, the second city founded by Henry Ford and can access some environmental issues like the expansion of soybeans.
The hikes last one Hour.
It's the only moment you can enjoy and contemplate.
After hiking or before we visit the area that belonged to my indigenous grandmother and my German grandfather. A huge tree i used to play hide and seek when I was a little boy, rubber tree plantation etc.

Details in more and conditions:
Both tours last about 6 to 7 hours. There will be Brazil nuts, cashew nuts, fresh fruits, fish snacks, bottled drinks including beer and caipirinha.
The latter will be charged.
There are no mosquitoes in both destinations.
You may need a hat and sunlight for the boat tour.
Our boats have capacity for at least 20 people.
I plan to have 5 guests plus children on each.
Vans and boats can be switch-able on the way back

Each tour costs 150 dollars per person. 30 dollars per tour and per person should be sent in advance to Emilie Calzavara for booking. These are no refundable. (For example : For one person, she does both tours. She needs to deposit 60 dollars to book both destinations)
The remaining 100 dollars should be pay the day of the journey.
